In this video we illustrate how to add text (including mathematical symbols), lines, curves, and other features to a scatter or series plot. Applications include adding a nonparametric lowess fit to a plot, adding a least squares line, adding text that shows parameter estimates (using Greek letters and mathematical notation), adding point-wise confidence and prediction limits around a least squares line, shading a region on a plot, and adding a legend.  Examples are drawn from Mod12Script.R and you should open this script in RStudio and follow along, reading and submitted code as you watch the video.
