RStudio provides a more convenient programming environment for working with R. We introduce the RStudio and show how to work from a script within RStudio. The script that we focus on is Mod8Script.R, which is available in the R Code folder on eLC. You should download it, open it in RStudio and follow along with this video. Here we show how to create vectors with data and do some simple computations on them with R functions such as mean() , sd(), min() and  max(). Finally, we introduce the subscripting system in R and show some of the many techniques with which we can subscript an R object.
