R is an open source software system which is constantly being enhanced with user-contributed functions and data sets. Such material is organized into packages, which may be downloaded and installed from CRAN and other sites on the web. In this video we illustrate how to install, load and use a package that does not come standard with the base distribution of R. We also show how to access package documentation.
If you have never installed packages in R, then this video is essential viewing. Otherwise the material contained here may be a review for you.
