In this video we show how to use vector-valued specifications for the col= and pch= graphical parameters when calling plot() or some other high level graphical function in R in order to distinguish points in a plot from one subject to another (e.g., to differentiate points by group). We also show how to use the text() function to label points in a plot, and we show some of the plotting symbols and colors in R according to their numeric specifications. Examples in this video are drawn from Mod12Script.R. You should open this script in RStudio and follow along, reading and submitting code as you watch the video.
